I knew from the taster session that I was going to get along with Lara. She has the most caring way of taking you out of your comfort zone but get in there with you to make sure you're ok. She questioned me just enough to make me do a complete U turn of what I thought I needed and showed me how to find what I wanted. I'm the most independent, stubborn woman I know and she still managed to work her magic, praising me without patronising and digging without being intrusive. In short - she rocked.

We can’t always figure things out alone and that’s ok. There is however a limit as to how much we can get from our friends and family. They may not have the capacity to help us or, well meaning though they may be, they can sometimes cloud issues with thinking they know best for us and their ‘helpful’ advice isn’t always that helpful. As a result we can lose sight of what actually matters to us and what will make us happy, rather than pursue things we “should” do or have always done.
Engaging an experienced, objective, and challenging yet supportive coach, can move you out of your rut into taking action that works for you. It can release you to start to live life on your own terms, or do work you’re excited to get up in the morning for.
Lara enjoys helping people create these kinds of shifts in their life and career and so where she has capacity, she works with a limited number of personal and career coaching clients on a reduced rate from her normal executive coaching prices.
Having Lara on your side as your coach would involve:
A survey and introduction pack to complete before you begin to get you both clear about your aims and intentions for the coaching.
A starting “programme” of 6 x 1 hour sessions. This is the first commitment and we can continue beyond that for as long as you feel it’s valuable to you. There’s no pressure to have it all wrapped up by then and also no pressure to keep coming back - you’re in charge.
Sessions paced at intervals to suit you (fortnightly is the most common however it depends on what works best for you)
A closedown reflective questionnaire so you can celebrate and embed your progress.
Appointments will be by Zoom. The total investment is £1,500 (including VAT) for each 6 hour pack.
I needed to make decisions about my future but was entirely overwhelmed by fear; fear of making the wrong choices and fear of stepping out of my comfort zone. I wanted practical, tangible results but was concerned that our work would focus on general strategies that would not be personalised to my life. This was certainly not the reality! I found the process thought-provoking, invigorating and challenging. It worked!
This process has had a remarkable impact on my life. As a direct result of my work with Lara, I have achieved something I never thought possible. It yielded palpable results that have certainly enhanced my life and that of my family.
Lara is honest, pragmatic, empathetic, patient and funny! She is wonderfully observant. She picked up on subtleties and ingrained beliefs that were limiting and made me aware of them. Then together we worked on questioning and challenging those beliefs. This resulted in a fresh perspective, a new way of looking at my life.
If you’re considering investing in coaching with Lara I would say - DO IT! You will not regret it. Be open to ambling onto the unexpected path that may appear!

If she doesn’t think she’s the right coach for you she’ll tell you honestly and, where she can, will try to help you find someone else who’s a better fit. Same goes if she’s fully booked and you don’t want to wait until she has an opening - she’ll do her best to match you to another brilliant people person . Lara’s main goal is for you to achieve yours, however that happens.
