BRINGing you the People Person’s Way

THE PEOPLE PERSON’S WAY is an exciting new framework for bringing out the best in yourself and others. It is based around three core “ways” to be - Kind, Brave, Brilliant and applied to yourself, other people around you, and the wider context or environment in which you operate and exist. This framework enables you to be your best self, do your best work, be happier, healthier and more successful and leave a positive impact on the world. For leaders the framework offers a unique way to get the best out of those you lead which speaks to the needs and expectations of a modern, post-pandemic workforce.

The three core ways (be kind, be brave, be brilliant) are supported by 12 individual pathways and the crucial thread of awareness which weaves all through the framework. The BRING model below is the visual representation of the framework.

THE BRING RINGS

The 3 rings in the BRING model are Self, Others, Environment.

The BRING model (c)

The BRING model (c)

Self sits at the centre of the model because in order to be your best or genuinely inspire or bring the best out in anyone else, you must do the work on yourself first.

Others - To fulfil your own potential as well as to bring out the best in others, you need to consider, adapt and connect with those around you.

Environment - The most effective individuals, leaders and businesses understand their environments, adapt accordingly, and always think bigger picture. Environment may relate to your team at work, your company, your industry. It could also be your home environment, your cultural environment. It could be the whole world. Either way, the third sphere relates to the wider context or environment in which you exist and operate.

TLDR: The ‘sweet spot’ is when you can attune to, blend and balance the requirements and dynamics of self, others and environment positively.

THE WAYS AND PATHWAYS OF THE BRING MODEL

Be Kind:  In an increasingly challenging, polarised and disconnected world we need kindness more than ever. An environment lacking in kindness triggers stress hormones in our brains, making us ill, and blocking our ability to think and perform. Conversely, showing and experiencing kindness creates a psychological environment where we can be creative, strategic, resilient to pressure and at our general best.

Pathways within Be Kind include: Be Compassionate, Be Well, Belong and Be Resilient.

Be Brave: Bravery isn’t fearlessness. Rather, bravery is when we don’t allow the fear we all feel at times to hold us back. When we lack bravery and stay within our comfort zones, avoiding risks, we stagnate and we fall behind, staying small and failing to reach our full potential. Taking courageous leaps however allows us and those around us to progress, improve, create and innovate, and live a purpose-full and real life.

Pathways within Be Brave include: Be Real, Be Bold, Be Curious, Be Purposeful.

Be Brilliant: Be Brilliant is a commitment to do your best, to have confidence, and to give yourself permission to shine. It is then inspiring that in others too. The key messages; you don’t need to be perfect, you don’t need to be president or CEO, you do need to do the work and you do need to be you - the whole you.

Pathways within Be Brilliant include: Be a Student, Be Confident, Become and Be a Beacon.

Awareness: Weaving through all the rings and all the ways and pathways of the BRING model is the essential thread of awareness for self, others and environment.
